Rachel's class started writing conversations. some very interesting ideas.

We are off to the Edinburgh Learning Festival on Friday to showcase the work we have been doing. We have created an impressive display of pupil work so fingers crossed it goes well.

We had a problem with small belts missing from our DVD drives. We found a supplier for the two different sizes of belts

This week Rachel's class used the fridge magnets to plan their stories. They all had excellent ideas and have now started creating their games. Kim's class couldn't come this week due to the school being used as a polling station for the election.

At last after many technical hiccups the two P7 classes have been to Firrhill and started making their games. At first they experimented with terrain, objects and characters just to get the feel of the toolset.

Very excited about this project. I really enjoyed the training and can't wait to get started. The team, Susan, Kimberly and Rachel have met to dsicuss the way forward and they have come up with an excellent plan. I have discussed the technical side with our technician and he does not foresee any difficulties once we get the graphics cards. I showed my S6 and they are really jealous that they won't get the chance to use the software.
